What to expect when playing U.S. college soccer: Fall Semester: Soccer is a Fall sport, played in the first half of the U.S. school year. Games are usually between late August and early December. You can expect to play approximately 20-25 soccer games in an average season. You will also be practicing up to 20 hours per week during the season. Spring Semester: The Spring semester is the off-season for soccer. You can expect to practice a maximum of 8 hours a week during the Spring. Your schedule will feature solo or small group practices.
