U.S. Sports Scholarships | Aussie Athletes Agency » Claire Farrington Claire Farrington Claire Farrington has earned the highest respect at every level of football and soccer in Australia and the USA. She graduated from NCAA DI Butler University in the Big East Conference. At Butler University, Claire was an integral part of the Women’s soccer team. She was a member of the BUWS Leadership Council from 2021 to 2024 and was a two-time recipient of the player-elected John Mahoney Legacy Award. During her college years, the Bulldogs were conference finalists and made it to the NCAA National Tournament. Claire also excelled off the field. She graduated summa cum laude (with Highest Distinction) and earned Academic All-District Honours. Claire graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Youth and Community Development with a concentration in Social Work and Sociology. She wrote an Honours thesis examining motivations for civic engagement among college students in the U.S. While at Butler University, Claire also completed internships working on the campus farm and for a local non-profit called Women4Change Indiana. In her youth career, Claire was selected into the state teams when living in New South Wales and Queensland, competing at the National Championships from ages 12-17. At 16 Claire joined the Brisbane Roar Youth Program and after three years in this program she earned a pro contract with Brisbane Roar A-League Women’s team.
