Kaden Hensel

Kaden Hensel brings wide-ranging U.S. college playing experience and coaching experience to AAA.  He was a 4 year starter at the University of Tennessee where he became a two-time All American and was ranked inside the top 20 nationally for both singles and doubles.  He was the #1 player in the lineup (singles and doubles) for more than half of his college career.  In 2007, he was selected to represent Australia in the World University Games and captained that team.  Academically, Kaden achieved Honor Roll status 3 years in a row and graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences, majoring in Geology.

Kaden played professionally on the ATP and ITF circuits after college, where he won 12 titles and was a finalist in 9 other events. In 2010 he achieved a lifelong dream of competing in the Australian Open.  Before competing in the U.S., Kaden was the Queensland Schoolboys champion and was selected in the Honorary Australian Schoolboys Team.  He also won 71 junior tournaments across Australia before the age of 18.

Kaden acquired 2 years college coaching experience in the U.S., firstly at Tennessee Wesleyan College as the Volunteer Assistant, then at the University of Tennessee as Graduating Student Assistant.  Kaden credits the U.S. college system for his tennis successes and is fervent about helping other Australian athletes continue to pursue their sporting goals and achieve positions in U.S. colleges.
