Nicole Seekamp

Nicole Seekamp attended the University of South Dakota (USD) in Vermillion, South Dakota for 5 years. She was a member of the universities women’s basketball program in the NCAA Division I. Nicole captained the team as they won the Summit League Conference Championship, and the Women’s National Invitational Tournament (WNIT) in 2016. That same year, she was awarded Conference Player of the Year, and WNIT Most Valuable Player. During her time at USD, she was named in the Summit League first-team three times and, academically, was named on the Summit League Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence all four years, and Distinguished Scholar Status three times, whilst graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

After graduation, Nicole pursued a professional basketball career in Poland’s top women’s league. After one season there, she returned home to Australia to compete in the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) for the Adelaide Lightning, where she was named the team’s Most Valuable Player. That led her to be selected in the Australian National team, the Opals, where she competed in the 2018 Commonwealth Games and won gold.

Nicole highly values her time and experience at an American college, and wants to help other athletes receive those very same opportunities, whilst achieving their goals athletically and academically.
